Football Recap: Stockton Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Stockton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Logan/Palco and fell 46-0. The Tigers have struggled against Logan/Palco recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Logan/Palco got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taden Gottschalk out in front who rushed for 174 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Gottschalk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Case Ashmore, who rushed for 133 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stockton will venture away from home to take on Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Logan/Palco, they will head out to square off against LaCrosse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
