Hart had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the South Spartans 41-38. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Hart's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Mack, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards Mack has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Koebel, who scored eight points and seven rebounds.

Hart smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Hart's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. As for South, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-11.

Hart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-64 defeat against Palos Verdes on the 19th. South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
