Recap: Justin-Siena Braves vs. Christian Patriots
The Justin-Siena Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 49-7 stomp they got on the road against Christian. That 49-7 margin sets a new team best for Justin-Siena this season.
Justin-Siena's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Washington, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Zapolski, who scored 12 points.
Justin-Siena is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1.
Justin-Siena and Marin Academy will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Marin Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Justin-Siena is ranked 74th). Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hockinson at 9:00 a.m. on December 30th.
