It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Oak Hill Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Winona Christian Stars 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won six games in a row.
Kaelyn Pennington made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits.
