Baseball Recap: Lyons Lions vs. Downers Grove North Trojans

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lyons ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Downers Grove North Trojans. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on Monday.

Owen Cypress tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
