Soccer Game Preview: Loara vs. Saddleback

The Loara Saxons will head out to square off against the Saddleback Roadrunners at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Loara's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Loara came up short against Bolsa Grande and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Saddleback hasn't lost a match since December 20, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Everything went their way against Rancho Alamitos as they made off with a 5-1 win.

Saddleback has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for Loara, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Loara suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Saddleback in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can the Saxons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
