Baseball Game Preview: Claxton Tigers vs. Jenkins County War Eagles

The Claxton Tigers will take on the Jenkins County War Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Claxton has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Claxton's offense. They came up short against Jenkins County on Tuesday, falling 14-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the War Eagles since March 9, 2018.

This is the second loss in a row for Claxton and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Jenkins County, they moved to 2-10 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
