Softball Recap: Johns Creek Comes Up Short

The Johns Creek Gladiators lost 11-3 to the Dawson County Tigers on Friday. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johns Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Uma Pittman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Pittman has hit this season.

Johns Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dawson County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johns Creek will challenge West Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dawson County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against White County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
