Basketball Recap: Cape Fear Christian Academy Skates Past Sandhills Classical Christian with Ease

Cape Fear Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions 80-29. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Scarborough, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Scarborough now owns an excellent 43.8% three-point shooting accuracy. Kayden Dunkins was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

Cape Fear Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's record is now 5-0.

Cape Fear Christian Academy and Sandhills Classical Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Eagles see the court they'll take on Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Sandhills Classical Christian, their break will end when they face Crossroads Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
