Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Trinity Christian proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Locust Grove Wildcats 1-0. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Wildcats are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity Christian's one-goal win came courtesy of Collin Mudge, who's now up to two this season.

The win (which was Trinity Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Locust Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Spalding on the 28th. As for Locust Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 28th.
