Softball Recap: Drummond Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Drummond came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Chisholm Longhorns with a sharp 10-0 win.

Addison Gorton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Gorton was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one triple.

In other batting news, Jenna Donaldson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Kyra Reyes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Drummond always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Drummond's record now sits at 21-8. As for Chisholm, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-20.

Drummond has already played their next game (against Beaver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chisholm does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
