Softball Recap: Etowah's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Etowah waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Marietta Blue Devils with a sharp 17-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Etowah's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Marietta, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Etowah will take on rival North Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marietta is set to face off against their familiar foe North Cobb at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
