Softball Preview: Burke County Bears vs. Hephzibah Rebels
Burke County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hephzibah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bears will head out to square off against the Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Burke County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Burke County came out on top against Academy of Richmond County on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 15-run second inning. The Bears blew past the Musketeers 18-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Burke County got a massive performance out of Alexis Mullis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave Mullis a new career-high. Saylor Norton was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Burke County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .741. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Academy of Richmond County only posted an OBP of .500.
Hephzibah played against Howard on Friday and won via forfeit.
Burke County's record is now 12-10. As for Hephzibah, their record now sits at 2-8.
Everything went Burke County's way against Hephzibah in their previous meeting back in August, as Burke County made off with a 16-1 victory.
