Wasco took a 21-point defeat the last time they faced off against Kennedy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers slipped by the Thunderbirds 55-54 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Wasco's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Kennedy, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
