The Kennedy Thunderbirds football team (Delano, CA), was tipped 55-54 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA)

With the win, Wasco advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers host Taft (Taft, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a South Sequoia bout on Thursday, October 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Taft won 15-12 in their recent league bout against Chavez (Delano, CA)

The Thunderbirds now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shafter for a South Sequoia contest on Friday, October 17. Kennedy will confront a Generals squad coming off a 59-7 league win over Delano (Delano, CA). The Generals record now stands at 6-1.
