The Kennedy Thunderbirds football team (Delano, CA), was tipped 42-35 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA)

With the win, Shafter advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Generals travel to Chavez (Delano, CA) to encounter the Titans in a South Sequoia bout on Thursday, October 23. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Chavez won 27-26 in their recent league contest against Delano (Delano, CA)

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds confront the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) in a South Sequoia contest, on Friday, October 24. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 56-0 league loss to Wasco (Wasco, CA).
