Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), 56-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Kennedy improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Wasco (Wasco, CA) to play the Tigers in a South Sequoia battle on Friday, October 10. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Wasco won 48-0 in their recent league battle against Chavez (Delano, CA)

The Tigers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shafter for a South Sequoia battle on Friday, October 10. Delano will meet a Generals squad coming off a 55-7 league win over Taft (Taft, CA). The Generals record now stands at 5-1.
