Soccer Recap: Fideles Christian Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Fideles Christian's offense. They fell just short of the Milledgeville Athletic Club Bears by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Fideles Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Milledgeville Athletic Club are ranked 98th).

Fideles Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fideles Christian will square off against Lanier Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fideles Christian are facing Lanier Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Lanier Christian Academy are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
