Football Recap: Hodgeman County Piles Up the Points Against St. John

Hodgeman County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-6 win over the St. John Tigers. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-6.

Ian Reece continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 29 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Talon Shank also helped with two scores in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hodgeman County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Hodgeman County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for St. John, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Hodgeman County is taking a road trip to challenge Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John, they will welcome Victoria on Friday.
