There's no place like home for Sequoyah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets 8-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 back in August.

Sequoyah's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-12. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 5-16 Sprayberry and 5-9 Woodstock (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.8% over those games). As for Sprayberry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Sequoyah and Sprayberry will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Chiefs see the field they'll take on Milton at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Sprayberry, their break will end when they face Woodstock at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th.
