Basketball Recap: Preuss UCSD Takes a Loss

Preuss UCSD fought the good fight in their overtime match against Liberty Charter on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 28-27 to the Liberty Charter Lions. The Tritons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the defeat, Preuss UCSD saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rediet Neme posted eight points.

Preuss UCSD's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Liberty Charter, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-13.

Preuss UCSD has already played their next contest, a 28-27 defeat against High Tech NC on the 6th. As for Liberty Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-27 win against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on the 6th.
