Basketball Recap: Kimberton Waldorf Gets the Win

Kimberton Waldorf won the last time they faced Valley Forge Baptist Academy and Camron Nixon did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bulls strolled past the Patriots with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-30 with plenty of help from Nixon, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. The game was her fifth in a row with at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cira Canard, who posted six points and nine boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Kimberton Waldorf now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kimberton Waldorf will take on Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Forge Baptist Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lehigh Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026.
