Wellington gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They walked away with a 25-14 win over Labette County. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Augusta didn't have quite enough to beat Mulvane on Friday and fell 26-23. The Orioles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wellington, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Wellington strolled past Augusta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 40-21. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Orioles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
