Sandy Creek came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Griffin Bears. That's two games straight that Sandy Creek have won by just one goal.

Donovan Lipson and Giovanni Rivera scored all three of Sandy Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Sandy Creek pushed their record up to 7-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Griffin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
