Basketball Recap: Bellflower Comes Up Short

Bellflower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-12 loss at the hands of the Warren Bears. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1238th, while the Bears are ranked 530th).

Bellflower's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Bellflower will take on Norwalk at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren, they will host La Mirada at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. La Mirada has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
