The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs were the clear victor by a 55-32 margin over the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, San Jacinto Valley Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaahliyah Lacy dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 81.3% of San Jacinto Valley Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.1 points. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-8 record.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside has already played their next contest, a 72-51 loss against United Christian Academy on the 30th. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 45-40 win against Hamilton on the 30th.
