Recap: Miramonte Matadors vs. Rancho Cotate Cougars
With a playoff game on the line, the Miramonte Matadors rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Cougars 67-46. The victory was just what Miramonte needed coming off of a 77-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Karena Eberts was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Annie Lindberg, who scored eight points along with seven steals.
Miramonte has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Rancho Cotate, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 15-14.
Miramonte will play host again and welcome Northgate, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Miramonte focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Wednesday. Rancho Cotate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
