Basketball Recap: Jordan Dever's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rim of the World over Liberty

Rim of the World lost against Liberty back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rim of the World Fighting Scots lost 53-32 to the Liberty Bison. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Scots have lost by exactly 21 points.

Rim of the World lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordan Dever, who posted 13 points. That was a full 40.6% of Rim of the World's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Liv Bundra, who put up ten points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malaya Baker, who earned eight points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelli Harris-Wellman, who posted eight points and four steals.

Rim of the World dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Rim of the World wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-27 defeat against Montclair on the 4th. As for Liberty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-14 loss against Ramona on the 12th.
