Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. West Campus

Johnson is 0-10 against West Campus since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Johnson Warriors will head out to face off against the West Campus Warriors at 4:30 p.m.

Johnson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Valley on Thursday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, West Campus entered their tilt with Burbank on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Titans onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Burbank with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Melia Tahara, Jaden Dewald, and Sierra Boyer.

West Campus pushed their record up to 8-1-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Johnson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Johnson might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from West Campus in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Johnson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
