Football Game Preview: Moose Lake/Willow River vs. Pine City

Moose Lake/Willow River have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Thursday. They take on Pine City at 7:00 PM. Moose Lake/Willow River will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Moose Lake/Willow River, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They were the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over Crosby-Ironton.the rankings were on Moose Lake/Willow River's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Pine City, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were given a punishing 7-48 defeat at the hands of Mora.

Moose Lake/Willow River's victory lifted them to 4-2 while Pine City's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Moose Lake/Willow River's success rolls on or if Pine City are able to steal their positive momentum.
