Soccer Recap: Cibola Takes a Loss

Cibola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rio Rancho Rams, falling 8-0. Cibola were not able to make up for their loss to Rio Rancho from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Cibola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rio Rancho, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cibola will face off against rival Farmington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Rio Rancho is set to take on their familiar foe Piedra Vista at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
