Preview: Monrovia Wildcats vs. Milken Wildcats
The Monrovia Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Milken Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Monrovia beat Mesrobian 39-35. The victory was just what Monrovia needed coming off of a 65-13 defeat in their prior contest.
Emily Mccarthy was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nareh Kiledjian, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Milken on the road against Faith Baptist two weeks ago as the squad secured a 61-6 win. The victory was just what Milken needed coming off of a 67-45 defeat in their prior contest.
Monrovia's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Milken, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
