Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poly). They breezed past the Douglass Mighty Ducks to the tune of 57-0 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Engineers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

With the victory, Poly broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Douglass, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Poly will square off against Patterson at 3:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Engineers will be up against the Clippers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Douglass, they will be playing at home against Edmondson-Westside at 3:00 p.m. on the 24th.
