Basketball Recap: Gracemont Takes a Loss

Gracemont lost against Dover back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gracemont Lions had to suffer through a 76-11 loss at the hands of the Dover Longhorns. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gracemont's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Dover, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Gracemont will be playing at home against Olustee/Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dover, they will venture away from home to take on Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dover's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's offense will have their work cut out for them.
