Basketball Recap: Righetti Triumphs

Righetti's tournament run continued when they took on Sanger on Friday. The Righetti Warriors walked away with a 51-41 victory over the Sanger Apaches.

Sanger lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zoe Gonzalez, who posted six points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Lucy Takeda, who earned five points and four steals.

Righetti's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Sanger, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Righetti wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-41 loss against San Luis Obispo on the 14th. As for Sanger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-37 victory against Atascadero on the 14th.
