West Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Curwensville Golden Tide. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

West Branch's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Curwensville, with the victory, they broke their 29-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-9.

West Branch won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Juniata Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Juniata Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Branch surely won't give up without a fight. As for Curwensville, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Glendale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
