Soccer Recap: Crossroads Finishes Even with Viewpoint

For the first time this season, Crossroads was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Viewpoint Patriots finished up their match with a 4-4 draw on Thursday. The outcome might've been different if Olivia Coletti hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Crossroads hit Viewpoint with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Talia Schachter, Andrea Prieto, Willow Hamilton, and Izzy Dileo.

With that draw, Crossroads' record moves to 3-4-1. Meanwhile, Viewpoint's record is now 4-2-5.

Crossroads and Viewpoint could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Crossroads will challenge Brentwood School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 474 places (527 vs. 53). Similarly, Viewpoint (ranked 366th) will meet Windward (ranked 130th) at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
