Palma's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to St. Francis on Friday. The Palma Chieftains put the hurt on the Pacific Collegiate Pumas with a sharp 39-19 win. The Chieftains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Palma's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21.6 points. As for Pacific Collegiate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Palma won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Silver Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Palma is facing Silver Creek at the right time seeing as Silver Creek is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Pacific Collegiate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacific Collegiate will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Seaside will have lost nine straight heading into Tuesday's game.
