Soccer Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Athens Christian last Tuesday, St. Francis came back down to earth. The St. Francis Knights fell just short of the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

St. Francis' goal came courtesy of Eli Pawlish, which was the first he's scored this season.

St. Francis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fulton Science Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis will venture away from home to square off against Mount Paran Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fulton Science Academy, they will head out to take on Killian Hill Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
