Baseball Recap: Hart County Takes a Loss

Hart County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-2 loss last Wednesday.

Hart County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hart County will head out to square off against East Jackson at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Stephens County at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
