Basketball Recap: Aragon's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mills, Aragon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 51-47 W over the Wilcox Chargers. The Dons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Among those leading the charge was Daisy Pantoja Beltran, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Dioli, who scored 11 points.

The win snapped Aragon's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-11 record. As for Wilcox, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Aragon will face off against Menlo-Atherton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Aragon: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Menlo-Atherton has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Wilcox has already played their next contest (against Palo Alto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
