Benedictine won against Perry on Friday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Benedictine was the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over Perry. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Cadets this season.

The win made it two in a row for Benedictine and bumps their season record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Perry, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Benedictine will square off against Providence School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry, they will head out to square off against Thomas County Central at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Perry is facing Thomas County Central at the right time seeing as Thomas County Central is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
