There's no place like home for Trinity Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Upson-Lee Knights 5-4 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 back in August.

The team relied heavily on Mary Ruth Adkins, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Trinity Christian's record is now 8-10. As for Upson-Lee, they dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Trinity Christian will head out to challenge Fayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Upson-Lee, they will venture away from home to face off against Lamar County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
