With a playoff win on the line, Thomasville rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bacon County Raiders, sneaking past 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Raiders back in September, they had to take a 6-2 defeat.

Not much got past Khiler Oehlhof, who gave up just four hits to keep Bacon County off the board. Oehlhof has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 21 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Thomasville's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cece Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 24-14. As for Bacon County, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

Thomasville has already played their next contest, a 10-2 defeat against Gordon Lee on the 31st. Bacon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
