Baseball Recap: Lakeview Academy Takes a Loss

Lakeview Academy's last matchup with Bethlehem Christian Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lakeview Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Walton, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lakeview Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lakeview Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe George Walton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bethlehem Christian Academy will take on rival Athens Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.2, the Eagles 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
