Basketball Recap: Greater Johnstown Takes a Loss

Greater Johnstown lost against Bishop McCort back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greater Johnstown Trojans took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop McCort Crushers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greater Johnstown now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bishop McCort, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Greater Johnstown will be playing at home against Central Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop McCort, they will head out on the road to take on Penn Cambria at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Penn Cambria has won three straight at home, while Bishop McCort won 12 straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change.
