Softball Recap: Latta Victorious

While Latta's win against Merritt wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Oilers 4-3. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Latta's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Merritt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Latta has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Stuart on the 22nd. Merritt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
