Baseball Recap: Heritage Preparatory Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Heritage Preparatory was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Flint River Academy Wildcats.

Heritage Preparatory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Ratliff, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That hit was Ratliff's first of the season.

Heritage Preparatory has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season. As for Flint River Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Heritage Preparatory will head out to face off against Atlanta Jewish Academy on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Jaguar at the right time seeing as the Jaguar are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Flint River Academy, they will welcome Skipstone Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
