Soccer Recap: Union Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

After losing to McDonough the last time they met, Union Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Union Grove Wolverines beat the McDonough Warhawks by a goal, winning 1-0. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Warhawks are ranked 190th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Union Grove's one-goal win came courtesy of Aumkar Patel, which was the first he's scored this season.
