Basketball Recap: Bethany Takes a Loss

Bethany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Newcastle Racers. The contest marked the Bronchos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bethany's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Newcastle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Bethany will face off against Clinton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newcastle has already played their next matchup (against Coweta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
